What a very tiring day has gone! It seems that we have done within a single day our work for the whole week. First, we woke up around 5 o’clock in the morning to go early in our work place. We do have so many work needed to do, and also to have meetings with other managers. We have to be in the office before 6 in the morning and luckily, that time is comfortable for me. At that time, they set a meeting at the conference hall to talk about the operation of our company and its relationship with others.

At the time that the president deliver his first words, everybody seems to be serious about our topic. To be honest, we are encountering difficulties in managing our business maybe due to lack of man power or somebody would like us to suffer. The secretary of the president reports the financial condition of our company with the supporting computations of our income, expenses together with taxes we needed to pay. The report seems to be good and nothing is wrong, but I have this feeling that something is not clear to my mind. A question finally formulated within myself, Why are we paying taxes that much?

Finally, I gather self confidence and asked the secretary about the issue of taxes we are paying. Then she gave me a hand outs of supporting computations that she has and when I study it thoroughly, I found it that a slide have made. A typographical error is encounter and it really affects the amount that much. Everybody stares at me and the president thanked me for giving my own opinion. Regarding the error, nobody is perfect and all of us are committing our own mistakes. But I think that we still have to check our work all over again before presenting it to others.
